Youth Entrepreneurship

From Idea to Product to Pitch

This is not a lecture about business.

The Youth Entrepreneurship Program is a structured, hands-on enrichment experience where students work together to turn ideas into something real. Every session integrates:

What Makes This DIfferent

Most entrepreneurship programs teach business theory. We teach students to think like founders through hands-on challenges, real brand case studies, and collaborative problem-solving that puts them in the room with peers who push their ideas further than they'd go alone.

Program Structure

We offer two formats depending on your organization's schedule and goals. Both are hands-on, student-centered, and designed to end with a pitch moment that will create a memory for students that lasts long after the end of this program.

Option 1
1–2 Day Intensive

High-energy and self-contained — ideal for career days, enrichment blocks, or organizations that want to give students a taste of entrepreneurial thinking.

Option 2
Multi-Week Series (6–12+ Weeks)

The full experience. Students move through every phase of the entrepreneurial process from raw idea to refined pitch building deeper skills and stronger peer relationships with every session.

The series closes with a Community Showcase — where students pitch to parents, peers, and invited guests. It's the moment the whole program builds toward.

Who This Program Is For

We adapt the program's complexity, pacing, and case studies to fit your students whether you're running a middle school after-school program or a high school leadership initiative. Here's who we've built this for:

Middle & High School Students:

Students who are ready to stop just learning about the world and start building something in it alongside peers who are doing the same.

Schools & After-School Programs:

Organizations that want enrichment their students will actually show up for and leave changed by. We come to you, handle the curriculum, and deliver the outcomes.

Community & Youth Leadership Programs:

Nonprofits, workforce initiatives, and community organizations investing in the next generation of young leaders in person, in community, in Chicago and beyond.

Summer Programs & Intensives:

Organizations running summer enrichment or career readiness programming who need a high-impact, self-contained session that students will remember when September comes.

Learning from brands students already know and love.

We don't teach entrepreneurship through textbooks. We use brands students already know viral products, youth-driven businesses, and creators who built something from an idea to show them what entrepreneurship actually looks like in the real world.

When students see a brand they love and understand how it got there, the concepts of market fit, product design, and customer loyalty stop being abstract. They become something students can apply to their own ideas right in the same session.

Brand Identity

Students analyze real brands to understand what makes a product feel like it belongs to them — and how to create that feeling in their own work.

Market Context

Students learn to ask the right question: Who is this for, and why would they choose it? That question changes everything about how they build.

What students and partners walk away with.

Creative Confidence

The experience of having an idea, developing it with peers, and presenting it to a room and surviving. More than surviving: thriving.

Public Speaking & Communication

Every student pitches. Every student is heard.

Collaboration & Community

The friendships and peer trust built through working on something real together in person, over multiple sessions, toward a shared goal.

Business Literacy

Brand thinking, product design, market awareness, and customer empathy taught through examples students actually care about.

Leadership

Not the theory of leadership the practice of it, in a room with peers counting on them to show up.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this program only for students who want to start a business?

Not at all — and that's one of the most common questions we get. The skills students build here (creative thinking, communication, problem-solving, confidence in front of a room) are useful in every career path, every college application, and every life situation where they need to show up with an idea and be heard. Some students will go on to start businesses. All of them will go on to be better communicators, collaborators, and leaders.

Yes — every program builds toward a pitch or Community Showcase where students present their work to parents, peers, and invited guests. The showcase format is adapted to your organization's space and schedule, but the experience of students standing up and being heard is built into every version of the program. It's one of the highlights for students and families alike.

We offer a 1–2 day intensive and a multi-week series (6–12+ weeks). The right format depends on your schedule, budget, and goals. Reach out and we'll recommend the best fit for your organization.

Do students need any prior business or entrepreneurship knowledge?

None at all. The program is designed to meet students wherever they are. Whether a student has never thought about business before or already has an idea they've been sitting on both leave with something real. We build from curiosity, not prior knowledge.

Yes. The Youth Entrepreneurship Program builds directly applicable career readiness skills: professional communication, public speaking, teamwork, creative problem-solving, and the ability to develop and present an original idea. These are outcomes schools, nonprofits, and workforce initiatives can document and share with funders and stakeholders.

Not yet — but it's coming. Right now this program runs through schools and organizations. Private enrollment for families is in development. Join our waitlist to be first to know when spots become available.
